Tasks

The Stores Manager is responsible for leading all stores and inventory functions to support maintenance activities. You will ensure optimal stock control, safe storage and handling, and seamless supply of parts and consumables to field teams. Key Responsibilities -Make a real impact on the performance and sustainability of critical infrastructure. -Inventory & Procurement: Maintain stock levels and critical spares; manage supplier relationships for timely, cost-effective delivery. -Stores Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, and issuing processes; ensure safe use of forklifts, EWPs, and compliance with WHS and CoR standards. -Maintenance Support: Coordinate with planners to prepare stock for scheduled works and respond quickly to breakdowns. -Leadership & Reporting: Lead and develop stores staff; provide accurate inventory and cost reports. -Safety & Compliance: Drive safe work practices, manage hazardous goods, and maintain regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

-Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Experience with ERP or CMMS inventory systems. -Desirable: EWP license and experience using EWPs for high-level storage and access. -Mandatory: Forklift license and demonstrated forklift operation competency. -Proven leadership experience in warehouse or stores operations, preferably in civil or maintenance. -Strong knowledge of WHS, CoR, and environmental requirements.
