Tasks

-Maintain PPG's minimum acceptable Global EHS requirements & practices associated with conducting a Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for processes Classified as B and C according to the PPG Requirement – Process Safety: Applicability. -Complete initial PHAs before startup of new processes. -Maintain process safety information adequate for proper performance of the PHA. -Complete PHA action items where mitigation is mandated by the PPG PHA Risk Matrix. -Ensure the facility is in compliance with the requirements of all applicable governmental regulations (e.g. Federal, State, Provincial, local) when these are different from, or more stringent than, the PPG requirements. -Prepare adequately trained teams to complete the PHAs. -Maintain a list of, and revalidation date for, processes that require PHAs.

What You Bring

-Chemical Engineering Degree, ideally chartered. -Revalidate PHAs at least every 5 years. -Operational experience of process safety management including topics such as leadership, culture, competence, asset integrity, permit to work, isolations and operating procedures. -Knowledge of COMAH regulations and experience with regulators and writing safety reports. -A solid understanding of process safety related risk assessment methodologies and standards such as HAZID, HAZOP, PHR, SIL, LOPA, FMEA, PSM, PHA, DSEAR, Occupied Buildings, Bowtie Assessments, Hazardous Area Classification.
