The Role

Overview

Maintain and repair apartment complex systems, units, and grounds for resident satisfaction.

Tasks

-Provide resident support and respond to after-office hours emergency calls. -Service, maintain and trouble shoot HVAC systems. -Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots including snow removal. -Repair and maintain building exteriors and interior common areas. -Repair, install and maintain basic plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers. -Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures. -Complete preventative maintenance activities. -Repair carpeting and tile. -Complete all maintenance requests in an efficient and courteous manner. -Repair, install and maintain basic appliances such as refrigerator, range, disposal, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. -Cleaning and housekeeping of common areas. -Prepare vacant apartments for market ready condition, may include cleaning and painting.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field desirable. -Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence. -Must maintain EPA designation/certification. -Must be able to read and comprehend the English language. -Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. -High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. -Able to work overtime and emergency call in.
