Tasks

Use measuring equipment including measuring tape, vernier caliper, and micrometer Responsibilities: Assembler Metals· Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products· Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools· Clean machines and immediate work areas· Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment· Polish metal products to mirror finish· Read and interpret fabrication drawings· Use hand tools like drills, rivet guns, and grinder· Use measuring equipment including measuring tape, vernier caliper, and micrometer Desired Qualifications· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds· Ability to Read a Tape Measure· Ability to work independently· Detail Oriented· Can stand for 8 hours a day· Has worked with various hand tools· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment· Can interpret drawings, calculate angles, measure and mark up materialFlynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
