Overview

Design and draft mechanical systems for naval vessels from concept to delivery.

Tasks

-Prepare design drawings, including calculations and schematics. -Seek and implement improvements in design processes and product quality. -Monitor task schedules and proactively track progress and upcoming deliverables. -Design exhaust systems, propulsion systems, domestic systems, cooling systems, hydraulic systems, and fire systems. -Select and requisition machinery. -Manage design inputs from third parties such as drawings, certifications, and manuals. -Produce accurate information and documentation, ensuring vessel design complies with relevant regulatory authorities, specifications, and customer requirements.
