Overview

Assist senior buyer with sourcing, supplier coordination, and procurement governance.

Tasks

-Support internal audits and reporting requirements. -Contribute to commercial negotiations under guidance. -Assist in maintaining clean data within the P2P system. -Engage in training and development opportunities to build procurement knowledge. -Support the team with administrative tasks and purchase order management. -With guidance proactively manage committed costs. -Promote ethical and sustainable procurement practices. -Stay informed on industry trends and best practices. -Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed. -Prepare basic reports on procurement activities and performance. -Represent the procurement team professionally in internal meetings. -Assist in gathering procurement requirements from project teams and stakeholders. -Help manage supplier calendars and engagement activities. -Help prepare and issue tender documents (e.g., RFQs, ITTs) and evaluate supplier responses. -Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. -Ensure suppliers meet Health & Safety and ESG requirements. -Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements. -Support supplier onboarding.
