The Role

Overview

Operate CNC brake press machines on 3rd shift assembling metal parts.

Tasks

-Access and utilize various documents, with the use of computers, associated with the manufacture of products in assembly for completion of confirmations (e.g. Quality and Safety Documents, Operating Instructions, etc.) -Work directly with or under the direction of a Group Lead and/or Supervisor. -Read blueprints and spot welds steel and galvanized parts -Complete confirmation documentation via SAP data management system or DMM. -Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure functioning and safe working conditions and wears appropriate PPE. -Work with ISO/work standards.

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or GED -Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization. -Experience with changing turret dies per set up sheet to complete specific orders -Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50lbs, and push/pull/slide material -Stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb -Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. -Consistently lift 20 to 40 lbs, standing for 30 minutes and moving loaded carts that weigh up to 87 lbs. -Operate CNC Brake machine -Brake press setup to form steel, aluminum, and copper per blueprint specs -In this role, you must be able to meet the physical requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following: -Must be able to read 2D & 3D blueprints, apply basic shop math, digital literacy, and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools. -Prior experience/knowledge in CNC Brake Press Machines -Working well on a team.
