  • Organize monthly safety meetings to ensure both OSHA and the insurance carriers' requirements are satisfied and accountable for delivering safety programs to ensure no harm to people, the site, or the environment
  • Provide planning, oversight and execution of new construction and capital improvement projects and programs
  • With the support of Oklo's PMO and Finance Teams, oversee construction progress, ensuring that timing, costs, and contract requirements are met
  • Manage regularly-scheduled facility inspections, building construction/maintenance, electrical construction/maintenance, HVAC, property, and grounds upkeep
  • Interact with Oklo's nuclear regulatory experts to ensure facility compliance with all appropriate regulations
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Plan for the best allocation and utilization of space and resources
  • Developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures for effective facility management
  • Hire and manage project engineers and on-location project managers
  • Ensure successful facility startup
  • Monitor compliance with local codes and regulations regarding building safety and fire prevention

  • Willing and able to learn quickly
  • 15+ years of experience in design and construction of complex facilities-preferably in the nuclear, energy, or a highly-regulated industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or excellence-focused role
