Overview

Designs, develops, tests mechanical systems/components using CAD, compliance, supports production.

Tasks

-Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software and engineering tools. -Research new materials, methods, and technologies to enhance product performance and efficiency. -Produce technical drawings, specifications, repair procedures, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly. -Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company and industry standards. -Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate designs and ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards. -Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to support production, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. -Conduct prototype testing, collect data, and evaluate product performance.

What You Bring

-Experience in engineering and project management. -Proficiency in SolidWorks. -Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science. -5-10 years of mechanical design experience. -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Proficiency in CAD software such as CREO, AutoCAD, or equivalent. -Project management skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. -Experience in machine design, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
