The Role

Overview

Organizes and validates engineering & supplier data in MMS, leads data meetings.

Tasks

-Assist with training and any support services for other Material Control Specialists -Curate Engineering and or Procurement data by assigning proper coding that align to company established standards to each component and upload into the Bills of Material and or Purchase Order -Monitor Bill of Material health and report to management potential risks/errors found -Work with IT on Engineering & Partner data curations -Lead data exchange meetings with JV Partners (for joint venture projects) -Coordinate with Engineering on a regular basis to determine requisition assignments and schedule -Generate requisitions based on Engineering data and assign/submit to Procurement Coordinator within MMS -Work with awarded suppliers to explain requirements of the Electronic Material list (EML)

What You Bring

-1-3 years of Material Control or equivalent experience -Above average skillset in Microsoft Excel -Ability to reason & problem solve -Strong analytical skills working structured & unstructured datasets -Preferred experience in Advanced Work Packaging
