Coordinate contracts, supervise ops, manage budgets, safety, and inspections for highway projects

Tasks
-Provide direct supervision to the Operations Coordinator and assist the Operations Manager with work planning. -Create and process 3rd-party and extra work billings monthly, ensuring specific contract requirements are met. -Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Review hazard assessments, SWPs, FLRAs, and audit findings, implementing corrective actions where required. -Schedule and track field work orders, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, and provide cost control for maintenance contract work. -Track and manage all bridge, road, and appurtenance inspections, and plan major maintenance projects with Alberta Transportation, City of Edmonton, and other agencies. -Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee and safety meetings; understand and follow all safety rules and policies. -Fill in for the Operations Manager during absences and promote continuous improvement and employee development. -Support the Operations Manager and General Manager in preparing and reviewing operating budgets, production costs, and profit reporting. -Work together with Edmonton business units to ensure consistency and efficient allocation of shared resources.

What You Bring
-Must be capable to work with minimum supervision -Must be skilled at handing people. -Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
