Assist design team with fire sprinkler drafting, CAD work, and project support as an intern.

Tasks

-revising shop drawings -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -preparing CAD backgrounds -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -making test papers and preparing job packets

What You Bring

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Have knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Have experience in AutoCAD -Have a strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done -Regular, reliable attendance -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree strongly preferred (Associates degree also considered) -Be available for part-time work during the school year (not mandatory) and full-time work during the Summer of 2026 -Good written and verbal communication skills
