Tasks

-Provide structural specifications for cranes, lifting devices and be familiar with their designs -Prepare and review engineering calculations, and design reports -Develop and review technical specifications for concrete material and testing requirements -Analysis and design of structures, including concrete, steel and composite structures -Prepare and review technical and building specifications, design criteria for civil structural engineering projects

What You Bring

Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools. -Aging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirements -Location: Remote (Candidates based in USA or Canada) -Nuclear experience is highly preferred -Working with the following codes preferred: AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, IBC, and, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual. -Computer programing skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is preferred. -P. Eng. (Canada candidates), P.E. (US candidates) certification is highly preferred

Benefits

-Pay Rate: $70.00- $100.00 per hour/ INC
