CAD / REVIT / BIM Engineer- (Galway)

Overview

Coordinate and produce BIM/Revit models and drawings for multi-discipline engineering projects.

Tasks

-Align design development with the project BIM execution plan–which would include regular coordination and model checks and sharing of model data throughout the design team. -Liaising with project teams to ascertain project needs and timelines for same. -Participation in drawing/design reviews and facilitation of feasibility studies. -Production and maintenance of MIDP throughout the project. -Use initiative and knowledge to support the CAD team and grow expertise in the use of CAD software and other tools -Taking instructions from Engineers and producing drawings with limited supervision or direction -Liaising between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural Designers -Manage the production of multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules.

What You Bring

-Mechanical or Electrical background and have a proven track record in a similar role. -Experience in Navisworks manager -Excellent communication & organisational skills -3rd level qualificationin Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Building Services Engineering or Strong trades background coupled with a BIM qualification. -Experiencein BIM 360 -Ability to work under pressure and to short deadline -Keen interestininnovation and emerging technologies -Experience in Revit model and Family Creation -Strong communication and organisational skills. -Ability to work off their own initiative but also as part of a project team -Aminimum of 3+years’experience within a BIM Co-ordination function. -Experience working to timelines in a project environment
