Tasks

-Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures and approval limits. -Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering, and Construction departments for technical clarifications and material submittals. -Source, request quotations, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, quality materials, and favorable delivery terms. -Receive and review material requisitions from site engineering and construction teams for accuracy and completeness. -Contribute to costsaving initiatives and continuous improvement within the procurement function -Support the Procurement Manager in preparing cost analysis, bid tabulations, and procurement status reports. -Ensure all procurement activities comply with company standards, client requirements, and projectspecific procurement plans. -Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, supplier correspondence, and documentation for audit purposes. -Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and responsiveness; maintain an updated approved supplier list. -Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials to site. -Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and material control teams to manage incoming deliveries and resolve discrepancies or damages.
