The Role
Overview
Verify, label, and inventory incoming galvanized metal, operate forklift, and maintain warehouse.

Tasks
-Maintain clear and accurate records. -Work regular shifts to include evenings; weekends; and/or holidays as assigned. -Operating a sit-down propane forklift and other machinery to move goods safely throughout facility and warehousing. -Continually maintaining a clean and safe working environment. -Actively complying with company safety policies and procedures. -Following written and verbal instructions. -Ensuring the highest level of process compliance and accuracy are maintained for all products. -Updating the inventory system prior to moving items to assigned warehouse locations. -Work may include responding to critical customer driven situations which may result in working some weekends, holidays, and after normal business hours. -Identifying and labeling received metal goods. -Complying with Disaster preparedness and Emergency Procedures. -Following ISO type process work instructions and procedures.

What You Bring
GALVANIZED METAL CHECK-IN, Royal Switchgear Manufacturing Company Candidates must be able to work up to 6 days per week with Saturdays scheduled on an as-needed basis. -Demonstrated dependable performance with consistent schedule adherence. -Prior experience working in industrial manufacturing is preferred. -Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed throughout work shift. -Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. -Must possess mental acuity for attention to accuracy and detail. -Demonstrated willingness to learn additional processes and procedures while executing more complex tasks with precision. -Must see in the normal visual range with or without correction. -Ability to accurately read and utilize tape measures, fabrication blueprints, and parts documentation. -Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. -Ability to work up to 6 days/week with Saturdays being on an as-needed basis. -Must possess general manual dexterity to operate computer, equipment, tools, controls, or other objects; reach with hands or arms. -Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Current sit-down propane forklift operation certificate strongly preferred. -Must hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. -Understand and follow oral and written directions. -Thorough understanding of inventory processes and system transactions. -High School diploma/GED required.
