Overview

Lead designer for industrial piping projects, managing design teams and 3D modeling.

Tasks

-Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects. Work with project team members, client teams, and other external parties to ensure co-ordination is aligned. -Clash checking for pipe clashes -Developing technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches and electronic models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures -Act as Lead Designer on small projects or as a Senior Designer on large projects. With the potential to be the Piping Design Team Lead as part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team

What You Bring

-Preferred Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/ Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or Science related discipline -Working knowledge Cadworx suite would be an asset but candidates with 3D modelling experience with PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant3D or Plant3D or other 3D software are welcome to apply. -15+ years of piping design experience for chemical, bio-pharma or similar industrial projects. -Experience gained on international projects highly desirable -Computer literate with good experience of MS Word and Excel -Ideally demonstrable experience of leadership in industrial piping design -Piping 3D modelling
