  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must live within a 20-mile radius (30 minute drive) of the position's service territory/work.
  • Must successfully complete SCE&G's 4-year apprenticeship training program
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL-Class A) within six (6) months of hire
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving history
  • Successfully complete the four (4) year apprenticeship training program which includes both written and hands-on instruction
  • Be available to respond to work after hours, scheduled overtime, callouts and urgent needs 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
