Overview

Develop and support embedded firmware for next-gen lighting and environmental products.

Tasks

-Work closely with Hardware, and Software design engineers to solve cross-functional design issues -Providing technical documentation (test procedures, design specifications, etc.) -As a member of the firmware development team, your daily activities will include the full life-cycle of design, develop, modify, test, debug, and support the new as well as the existing firmware for all our streaming products -Develop and support motorized shades and other products within our Lighting and Environmental division

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree -Experience with communication networks and protocols: ZigBee, 802.15.4, Ethernet -Experience with a Real Time Operating System FreeRTOS -Must be persistent, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be willing to work with others to find solutions that avoid project stalls -Must have the ability to work in a fast moving environment -5-9 years of experience in embedded firmware development -Experience with DALI products: DALI 2.0 Specifications, DALI DT6/DT8 Device types -Must possess a strong team orientation -Experience with ST Microcontrollers and standard communication interfaces : SPI, UART -Must have strong written and verbal communication skills detail -Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product
