Estimate civil engineering projects and manage tender processes across multiple sectors.

Tasks
-Presentation of tenders to senior management at tender review meetings -Effective registration, control, and administration of tender documentation -Support and employee infrastructure embedded in the business as a platform for personal and professional development creating pathways for unrivalled career development and progression opportunities internally. -Liaison with the Supply Chain team in respect of placing supplier/subcontractor enquiries -Preparation of estimating reports -Preparation of tender submission documents -Preparation and management of tenders from receipt of documents through to delivery -Providing assistance to proposals and contract management functions -Effective analysis and pricing of risks -Take-offs from drawings and production of cost-effective tenders from first principles

What You Bring
-Technical and commercial appraisal of construction labour, plant, materials, and temporary works -Working knowledge of Excel (& Word) and estimating software -First Principles Estimating experience -Previous experience as a Senior Estimator in multi-disciplinary civil engineering sectors such as rail, highways, aviation, and/or utilities and power -Experience as a Senior Estimator in a civil engineering contractor organisation -Civil engineering project experience
