Tasks
-Research proper accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP, as needed. -Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data, record and reconcile transactions, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. -Collaborate with other finance and functional teams to perform expense reviews and forecast annual operating spend. -Prepare for and support the annual business planning process, including operating and capital plans. -Lead the year-end review which includes the preparation of external financial statements and cash flows, consolidating entries, and financial workpapers. -Perform ad hoc projects as requested. -Ensure successful implementation of new accounting standards, as necessary. -Perform detailed analysis of financial results, explaining variances and trends, and provide financial insights to help management make informed decisions.

What You Bring
-Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently -Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic -CPA certification required -High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives -Strong understanding of US GAAP -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field -4 - 10 years of relevant financial reporting, accounting, or finance experience, preferably with experience in Public Accounting -Excellent analytical and quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations -Outstanding oral and written communication skills -Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
