Tasks
-Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations. -Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned. -Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests. -Supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Brandywine Living and the facility. -Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns. -Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment. -Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for: -Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment. -Supports and participates in common teamwork:

-Confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee and operations data. -While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. -An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics. -FSA (Commuter/Parking) -Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident
