Tasks

-Serve in a technical capacity to provide solutions to complex engineering problems within the Civil / Structural department. -Review shop drawings. -Work as the Responsible Engineer for assigned items ensuring the items are designed on schedule and following the quality processes as outlined by company procedures. -Design structural steel for industrial projects including platforms, pipe racks, and pipe and electrical supports. -Support senior engineers with planning, preparing and developing detailed design and specifications for major and complex structures, systems and equipment. -Coordinate with other internal engineering disciplines on project designs. -Design concrete foundations for support of equipment and buildings in power plants and other industrial facilities. -Develop project specifications. -Perform material take offs of steel and concrete structures. -Participate in project planning and preparation of budgets and estimates.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 2 years of work-related industry experience. -Excellent presentation and communication skills required. -Strong interpersonal skills. -Engineer in Training Certification and working towards Professional Engineer licensure. -Proficient with Structural Engineering Software (STAAD Pro, RISA). -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering. -Must posses authorization to work in the USA for any employer without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
