Tasks

-Verify that procedures are carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. -Ensure compliance with current regulations (SAT, Customs Law, international treaties). -Collaborate with departments such as logistics, materials, manufacturing, and operations. -Implement continuous improvements in processes. -Ensure digital traceability of operations. -Coordinate physical and documentary inspections of goods. -Coordinate and optimize import and export operations. -Develop metrics related to clearance times, document accuracy, and operational efficiency. -Validate customs declarations, invoices, certificates of origin, and other required documents. -Supervise performance and train the team on procedures and regulations. -Manage platforms such as VUCEM, SAAI, and inventory control systems for manufacturing and Annex 24 to track operations. -Assign tasks to operational staff. -Maintain accurate control of records and files associated with importing and exporting activities.

What You Bring

-+5 years of experience in customs compliance within maquiladora or manufacturing company. -In-depth knowledge of the Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, Free Trade Agreements, and OEA, CTPAT, CIVA, IMMEX y PROSEC programs. -Respectful and team oriented -Innovative & adaptable -Proficient in systems such as VUCEM, SAT, CARTAS PORTE, among others. -Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. -Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade, International Business, Customs Law, or a related field. -+3 years of experience in personnel management. -Mastery in the management and tracking of ANEXO 24 operations.
