The Role

Overview

Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of construction equipment.

Tasks

-Participate in training programs directed by the Manager. -Align workflow with scheduling requirements. -Follow all company procedures and protocols. -Understand customer requirements/expectations and provide appropriate recommendations and briefings. -Collaborate with coworkers to ensure top-quality equipment, exceed customer expectations. -Utilize company-provided systems and tools to efficiently document and manage work orders and sourcing parts/supplies for repairs/maintenance. -Troubleshoots, maintains, and diagnoses all types of equipment to ensure optimal working condition on the job site or in the shop -Operate vehicles safely and use field automation systems effectively. -Deliver outstanding service and support during field visits or dispatches maintaining positive relationships. -Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization. -Report any unsafe or unserviceable shop tools, equipment, or vehicles to the Manager, and ensure that all tools are maintained in optimal condition, adhering to MSHA and OSHA regulations.

What You Bring

-Ability to work independently and efficiently in both shop and field environments -Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment -Must be physically able to work in a jobsite environment for extensive periods to include lifting to 50lbs or more, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching. -Strong communication skills and dedication to customer service. -Must have own tools -Complete basic computer tasks including work orders, parts lookup, and email communication. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Adaptability for schedule adjustments and flexible hours based on operational needs. -Proficiency in basic computer tasks, including work order management, parts lookup, and email communication. -Must be able and willing to help train and assist other technicians in need of assistance -Position may require several hours of driving daily to job sites
