Tasks

-Work collaboratively with both the Delivery and Pre-Contracts teams with all procurement activities, focusing on utilising the approved cohort of subcontractors -Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source timely quotations, manage inquiries and update supplier/subcontractor databases as well as historical pricing and rate card records -Participate in the identification of tender risks and opportunities, value engineering initiatives and competitiveness assessments throughout the bidding process -Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture. -Cultivate relationships with First Nations business networks such as Kinaway and Supply Nation, as well as Social Enterprises, to expand and enhance the JV's Social Procurement Objectives -Build and maintain relationships with key market suppliers and subcontractors to ensure an up-to-date understanding of market offerings and trends. -Assisting in sourcing, identifying, engaging, and supporting First Nations and Non-First Nations subcontractors and suppliers -Review tender documentation issued by clients, attend tender kick-off meetings and assist with identifying and engaging preferred delivery partners

What's on offer?We are seeking an experienced and energetic First Nations Engagement and Procurement Officer to complement our existing team and support our expanding long-term program of works in the Victorian Utilities sector. Based in Lynbrook, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering a diverse portfolio of multidisciplined projects, including earthworks, treatment plants, large-scale pipelines, pump stations and concrete structures. -Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels -Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Trade Background is preferred combined with hands on project experience in an infrastructure construction environment -Detailed experience and understanding of procurement principles
