Overview
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant equipment to ensure efficient production.

Tasks
-Observe mechanical and electrical devices in operation to locate cause of trouble -Avoids or prevents hazardous conditions from developing. -Start device to test performance -Lay out electrical panels from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions, which would include microprocessors, relays, etc. -Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery -Observe company safety rules, regulations, and policies -Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner -Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment and testing instruments -Participates in plant safety objectives. -Repair, replace or rebuild necessary parts to make machine function safely -Help maintain an orderly and clean working environment -Can work a weekend schedule as needed. -Dismantle devices to gain access to remove defective parts -Interprets and reacts to data trends on available up time, mean time between repairs -Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments -Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S. -Use prints and drawings provided by the manufacturer and the engineering department for the rebuilding procedures -Wear appropriate protective equipment as required, dress and conducts self in a safe manner. -May be required to work other shifts and over-time -Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all machines and equipment for proper operation -Set up and operate drill press, grinder, welding, and cutting equipment to make and/or repair parts

What You Bring
-Understands and follows plant safety and procedures. -Able to work with sense of urgency and prioritizing tasks -Forklift certification required. Must have clean driving record -Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions -Ability to read, write, speak, and understand various written instructions in English -Strong math skills -Must have 2 years post-secondary technical training or 5 years industrial maintenance experience -Good hand dexterity -High School Education, GED or Equivalent -Can work overtime to meet Business Objectives
