Tasks

-Maintains the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by developing and supporting strategic plans for implementing and maintaining information technologies. -Establishes key elements of tactical and operational plans with direct impact towards the achievement of results of the area. Focus is on short- to mid-term operational plans (e.g., 1- 2 years). -Develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the area. -Develops and champions IT strategy for functional unit(s). -Build and mentor a high-performing MarTech team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. -May have budget accountability for area or manage elements of the budget. -Leads defining enterprise IT policies and implementing procedures to ensure the protection of information assets. -Leads problem management teams made up of senior engineering resources in solving high-complexity, high-impact enterprise issues. -Works with senior leadership to develop team goals and aligning them with department objectives. -Achieves financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action within the functional unit. -Conducts performance and professional development reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans or terminations, when necessary. -Manages a large team typically comprised of managers and/or supervisors and experienced professionals. -Recruits, selects, coaches, and develops managers, team leaders, engineers, and support staff within the IT department. Manages professional growth and development plans.

What You Bring

-This role requires someone who can think strategically and align software development initiatives with business objectives. -Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project or program teams in one department/area. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the department. -Deep understanding of business practices and operations. -Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6-8 years prior relevant experience. -Proficiency with MS Office / MS Office 365 tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint. -Looking for a candidate with proven experience in marketing technology, including a deep understanding of CMS platforms, such as Sitecore XM or XP. -May require travel -They should be well-versed in the full software development lifecycle and have proficiency in relevant technologies like JavaScript, React, and .NET. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Proven proficiency in leadership, HR management, strategic planning, vendor management, cybersecurity, communication, problem solving, budget management, compliance and risk management. -Exceptional analytical skills.
