Overview
Electrical installation and maintenance on construction projects, handling wiring, panels, conduit, and motor controls.

Tasks
-Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC. -Prepares layout, using voltage tester, wire strippers, level, pipe benders etc... -Perform work overhead, beneath structure, and from various other positions as required by working conditions. -Make decisions based on measurable criteria. -Lift and carry objects of varying weights. -Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings. -Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times. -Terminates panels utilizing LOTO -Rates information using standards, which can be measured or checked. -Calculate loads for single phase and three-phase branch circuits. -Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations. -Run cable tray, pulls wire and bend various types of conduit. -Reviews and compares differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects. -Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. -Follow directions, plans, and blueprints.

What You Bring
-Knowledgeable with blueprints, sketches and building plans pertaining to type of material -Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds. -Skilled in both written and verbal communication. -Size branch circuit overcurrent protection devices. -Understands motor controls and metering. -Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops and other elevated positions, as well as, confined spaces. -Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools. -Significant travel may be required. -Regular attendance is required. -Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. -Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working in confined spaces with limited access, on ladders, in personnel lifts, in workboats, and working in awkward body positions.
