Tasks

-Design transmission line projects employing industry recognized software packages such as AutoCAD / Civil 3D, FAD Tools, and PLS CADD -Coordinate with internal project managers and disciplines to ensure project success -Manage multiple projects simultaneously -Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices -Perform electrical calculations for transmission line system design / studies (Insulation Coordination Studies, OPGW Analysis, Line Ground System Analysis, Line Loss Studies, etc.) -Assist with equipment specifications, bid evaluations, and procurement -Prepare engineering deliverables, including contract documents and studies -Travel to client sites and industry conferences as needed -Apply knowledge of transmission line design materials to generate framing drawings, load and dimension drawings, and bills of materials -Create drawings and specifications for transmission line construction -Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements

What You Bring

-3+ years of experience in transmission line design -Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and design software -Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
