Control & Protection System Supervision Engineer - HVDC

Design, develop, test, and support HVDC control & protection software and lab environments.

Tasks

-You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. -You will set up and maintain control and protection lab environment for HVDC Base projects. -You will coordinate with different stakeholders across the business units to get inputs to optimize the HVDC solutions. -You will develop, control and protect Functions/ Solutions for future HVDC technologies. -You will support projects in resolving the issues related to Control and Protection Functions. -You will be part of all phases of delivery, which includes design, maintenance, testing, integration, verification, and deployment of the software functions needed for safe and reliable operations of plants and transmission links, with the opportunity to also travel internationally for short assignments to our sites for Commissioning and costumer meetings Support Global Projects by adapting HVDC Base Control & Protection Software (MACH).

What You Bring

-You hold a degree in BTech /B. E in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation. -Self-starter calibre who could own tasks through to completion. -Experience in technical tender support or bidding is preferrable. -You should have knowledge in Power System fundamentals, Substation Control & Protection. -You must have knowledge in HVDC/HVAC System Knowledge, Control & Protection. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -You should have minimum work experience of 2 to 6 years in Relay Control and Protection system. -Experience in substation environment and protection application is an added advantage.
