BIM Technician - Mechanical

Tasks

-Create, develop and maintain project design models and drawings using latest BIM/Revit/CAD techniques in accordance with established standards and design principals. -Participate in the tendering and construction phases of the project as required to support the consultants role on the project. -Identify discrepancies in models, drawings and information and resolve through appropriate methods and channels. -Actively participate in the design of building (HVAC and Plumbing) mechanical systems for projects in the institutional, transit, food and beverage, industrial and commercial sectors as an integral member of the mechanical design team. -Review models, drawings, and information to ensure completeness and accuracy. -Perform changes, additions and/or revisions as required. -Coordinate mechanical designs, models and drawings packages with other engineering/architectural disciplines as part of the complete design solutions. -Perform field reviews to support the design phase and verification of construction during project execution.
