The Role

Overview

Lead electrical design projects, manage teams, and coordinate with clients.

Tasks

-Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review. -Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment. -Calculate and analyze electrical loads. -Writing project specifications. -Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines. -Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. -Project Management of a team of engineers/designers to complete electrical design projects. -Perform construction site visits and write field reports. -Meet with clients for the purposes of obtaining future work. -Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. -Coordinate with other disciplines as required for a successful project. -Managing project budgets. -Design building and site lighting systems. -Interface with clients and owners. -Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design.

What You Bring

-Excellent communications skills -Ability to work collaboratively with a team -Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel -Excellent attention to detail -Minimum of 15 years experience in the A/E/C industry -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
