Overview

Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering, and water treatment equipment in a refinery/industrial facility.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Log and record process readings -Assist in facility equipment preventative maintenance -Collect liquid and solid samples and perform routine sampling -Keep work area neat and Clean -Perform Unit Rounds -Under Direct Supervision perform the following: -Assist in general maintenance of facility equipment

-Basic Mechanics -Must demonstrate the ability to learn and independently operate assigned machines and equipment. -CIAB VNA computer Based training -Basic Hand Tools -PSM training -40 Hr HAZWOPER -High School Diploma/GED. -Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment such as pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers , conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed, odor control, disinfection equipment, sludge processing filters, measuring, control devices, testing equipment and material handling equipment. -Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities.. -Basic orientation Industrial Basic Plus -MSA/JSA training -Lubricants and Lubrication
