Temporary field tech performing vegetation management, irrigation, and habitat restoration tasks.

Tasks

-Attending meetings, both in person and virtually, and speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. -Maintain a clean and safe job site -Complete project daily reports if needed -Work as part of a team and take direction -Work closely with supervisor in installation of construction and landscape construction projects -Keep accurate timesheet records, submitted for review and signoff by the required deadlines -Follow all safety procedures on project site -Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles

What You Bring

Proven ability to work effectively in field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders Direct experience in habitat restoration, including planting, invasive species removal, and ecosystem management Experience in the safe handling and application of pesticides, including compliance with local and federal regulations Hands-on experience with irrigation system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting -Operate a variety of hand and power tools -Perform highly physical installation work on a consistent basis -Punctual and dependable -Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment. -Outdoor activity involves walking/trekking in uneven terrain over long distances in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time -Direct experience in habitat restoration, including planting, invasive species removal, and ecosystem management -Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record -Employees must be capable of bending, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 35 lbs. unassisted; 50lbs in a team lift (two or more employees) -This job requires project site visits, based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, and moving vehicles and equipment -1 to 3 years’ experience in landscape industry -Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge and skill levels -Highly motivated, self-driven, detail oriented -High School Diploma or Equivalent -Proven ability to work effectively in field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders -Working on a computer, sitting, or standing for long periods of time in a field, office, or remote office setting. -Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. -Great time management skills; available for seasonal long hours and weekends -Ability to travel out of town/overnight -Experience in the safe handling and application of pesticides, including compliance with local and federal regulations -Hands-on experience with irrigation system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
