Tasks

The Energy Efficiency Community Outreach will work directly with end users to document energy-efficient equipment upgrades (i.e. lighting, HVAC, motors, controls) within Frontier Energy’s Texas service area. This role will require regular travel and may require multiple days in the field. The Energy Efficiency Community Outreach will process energy efficiency rebates and communicate regularly with customers and contractors while building and maintaining professional relationships to continuously bring in new projects. -Work directly with end use customers and trade allies to identify, calculate, and communicate energy conservation opportunities -Provide periodic reports of key metrics to program leads regarding project status and/or outreach performance, such as participation rates, stakeholder feedback, and outreach effectiveness -Identify barriers to participation and develop successful, community-relevant resolutions -Conduct pre- and post-verification site visits at project sites to validate project completion -Regularly travel by car to customer sites throughout Frontier Energy’s Texas service area -Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through regular communication and program delivery -Conduct in person and virtual outreach to secure new program participants -Coordinate and conduct facility site visits and energy audits

What You Bring

*** Travel required between Austin and Dallas *** -Knowledge of the energy efficiency field -Adaptive learner with a high level of creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills -As this position requires driving, the candidate must have an active, valid, appropriate driver’s license and regular access to a personal vehicle -1-2 years of work experience in a related field -Excellent skills with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, and Windows® operating systems -High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development) equivalent -Experience working with diverse stakeholders such as contractors, trade associations, community organizations, and/or government entities -Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team -Experience conducting outreach for program participation -Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines -Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences both face to face and virtually
