The Role
Overview
Support BAS and network infrastructure, providing desktop/Linux admin and troubleshooting.

Tasks
-Maintain and configure routers and firewalls, including Cisco Meraki and Cradlepoint devices. -Provide desktop support for Windows environments (Windows 7 through 11). -Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, primarily Ubuntu LTS. -Diagnose and resolve IP network issues, including ISP routers, switches, and security appliances. -Work with cloud and virtualization platforms such as Azure, AWS, and virtual desktops/servers. -Use remote access tools (RDP, SSH, web portals) to manage systems. -Support and maintain BAS protocols such as BACnet/IP and MTSP (knowledge preferred). -Support various internet connection types: Cellular, DSL, Cable, Fiber, and Fixed Wireless. -Troubleshoot BAS networks, including Niagara 4 and similar controllers. -Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. -Conduct technical product research and provide recommendations. -Provide third-level technical support to field technicians and liaise with vendor support

What You Bring
-Proven experience with Windows desktop and Linux server environments. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Strong understanding of IP networking and troubleshooting. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. -Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Cradlepoint, and other network appliances. -Familiarity with BAS systems, especially Niagara 4. -Excellent communication skills for working with technicians and support desks. -Knowledge of BACnet/IP and MTSP is an asset. -Utilize Niagara 4 Supervisor and Workbench for system management (experience preferred). -Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization tools.
