Tasks
-Budget Adherence: Assist the division manager with planning and ensuring that projects are completed within budget, adjusting strategies when necessary. -Project Documentation & Planning: Read and interpret project plans, ensuring all work aligns with specifications and client expectations. -Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. -Training & Mentorship: Assist in training and developing lower-level employees on maintenance, repair duties, and safety protocols. -Safety: Maintain a safe work environment by conducting regular safety meetings, ensuring proper use of PPE, and enforcing adherence to company safety policies and OSHA regulations. -Technology Usage: Utilize a company-issued work truck, tablet, phone, and other necessary tools to manage day-to-day responsibilities and communication. -Crew Coordination & Supervision: Direct supervision of a crew of 10-15 people, ensuring work is performed efficiently and to the highest standard. -Equipment & Maintenance: Oversee equipment and truck maintenance, ensuring drivers perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance. -Materials Management: Responsible for measuring and ordering quantities for supplies and materials, ensuring that the right materials are available for each project phase.

What You Bring
-A valid state driver’s license with a Medical DOT card and no active violations within the previous three years. -Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and project specifications. -3+ years of experience as a Paving Superintendent. -Compaction & Rolling Patterns: Understand and implement proper compaction and rolling patterns to ensure the smoothness and ride-ability of the project. -Adaptability to Weather and Schedule Changes -Strong understanding of compaction techniques, rolling patterns, and ride-ability standards. -Time Management -Communication Proficiency -Must be able to pass a drug test at all times.
