The Role

Senior planner role delivering planning services from concept to completion for various projects.

Tasks

-Acting as Project Lead including liaison with and management of external consultants and working closely with our in house design, rural, commercial and valuations teams. -Drafting Planning Statements, Design & Access Statements and other supporting documentation. -Dealing with the preparation, submission and management of the full breadth of application types relating to Residential, Commercial and Agricultural property, including applications for Listed Building Consent. -Dealing with the preparation, submission and management of planning appeals. -Advising on and dealing with planning conditions, Section 106 agreements, Community Infrastructure Levy and other planning obligations. -Advising on the promotion of development sites for adoption. -Giving initial feasibility advice, completing Planning Appraisals including formulating planning strategy's for clients, and dealing with Pre-Application Enquiries.

What You Bring

-Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the planning process, including both development management and local plans -Ability to mentor and guide more junior members of the team -Able to communicate with client contacts and external bodies, authorities and consultants -Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills -Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). -Extensive planning experience across a range of sectors, with the ability to apply this in a consultancy environment

Benefits

As Senior Planner, you will enjoy a competitive salary likely £45K to £55K according to skills and experience, together with an excellent flexible benefits package.
