Tasks

-Preparation of Loop diagram. -Specify and purchase field instruments including electronic and pneumatic transmitters, switches, meter-runs, analyzers, control valves and ESD valves. -Monitor/supervise the work of junior executors and assist with mentorship and training. -Assist in selection of discipline personnel assigned to projects. -Preparation of PLC layout & IO Schedule. -Preparation of datasheet. -Review and verification of inputs as per the project requirement. -Provide and demonstrate leadership in accordance with Environment Health and Safety program to establishing a strong safety culture within the organization and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards. -Preparation of Instrument Index and Instrument I/O list. -Preparation of Cause & Effect Diagram. -Preparation of FJB interconnection wiring diagram. -Interface with the other engineering disciplines to ensure a coordinated design and that project engineering deliverables are completed. -Preparation of Cable Schedule. -Preparation of MTO. -Preparation Power Distribution. -Preparation of Instrument Location Plan. -Preparation of Instrument Hookup drawings. -P&ID review with process team & Piping Team, updating necessary changes. -Preparation of Cable & Conduit tray routing. -Prepare engineering QC document as per company and client standards. -Review vendor and existing drawings for design compliance.

What You Bring

-Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Smart plant Instrumentation (Intools) software. -Knowledge of various electrical components including MCCs, PLC equipment panels and motors. -Orifice Venturi, Control valve and Flow nozzle sizing calculations -Knowledge on technical reasoning, analytical and monitoring skills -Knowledge and experience of applying codes and standards such as CSA, API, ANSI and ISA. -Requires a broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved. -Excellent computer skills including use of engineering and computer software to complete control valve, PSV and flow meter sizing.
