Power Systems Engineer
Veir
The Role
Overview
Design and deliver utility/data center power solutions with superconducting tech.
Key Responsibilities
- reference design
- system design
- single-line diagrams
- certification
- documentation
- technical support
Tasks
-Identify and specify the equipment that VEIR will interface with in reference designs and propose their settings. -Collaborate with VEIR’s engineering team to develop customer-facing documentation, commissioning procedures, installation guides, and user manuals. -Conduct a competitive analysis comparing VEIR’s solutions to conventional alternatives. -Refine and streamline how VEIR articulates the value proposition for our solution for utility or data center customers. -Develop and model reference designs for VEIR’s solutions within utility and/or data center environments. -Provide customer support for highly technical customer engagements. -You can work autonomously, with limited direction AND collaboratively across different departments, stakeholders, and customers to launch new products and continuously evaluate the performance of existing products. -Work closely with external engineering and contractor partners to finalize construction documents for early pilot projects. -Support the certification process for integrating VEIR’s systems into data center applications according to industry standards. -Develop detailed system designs for early pilot implementations. -Develop a deep understanding of VEIR’s technology and how it can be deployed in utility or data center applications. -Create single-line diagrams for VEIR’s system integration test environment, a flagship deployment for demonstrating the value our systems offer to customers. -Identify, iterate, and refine the VEIR technology applications and opportunities for utility or data center applications.
