Tasks

-Assisting with the development and utilization of the Preconstruction processes, standards and tools -Collaborating with designers and clients -Assisting the Pricing Lead and participating in estimate review meetings -Contributing to cost savings exercises -Collaborating with Preconstruction Leadership -Assisting with Preconstruction-Operations Turnover Meetings -Identifying risk items and the associated order of magnitude -Assisting with the development of bid packages -Collaborating and assisting the project operations team -Assisting with Preconstruction resource management -Assisting with project procurement and buyout -Participating in Preconstruction software development, maintenance, and historical costs -Leading and training Estimating personnel -Assisting with Subcontractor and Vendor relationships -Developing associated scope of work clarifications -Assisting with the project construction budget -Developing accurate, detailed construction cost estimates at progressive design stages

What You Bring

-Travel as required - 10%-20% -Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent and 5 years of estimating experience preferred or 15 years relevant experience in the construction industry -Estimating software experience required, Beck Destini Estimator preferred -Self-perform experience -Design-Build and CMAR project delivery method experience -Ability to develop a detailed estimate a conceptual level with minimal design -Demonstrated estimating experience for cast-in-place concrete -Strong subcontractor & vendor relationships -Revit/Navisworks, 3D model experience a plus -Experience within Water/Wastewater and Industrial markets, with bonus experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Product Goods or Food & Beverage -Ability to forecast design and materials at a conceptual level -Strong understanding of material specifications to make informed recommendations
