Quarry Foreperson

Overview

Oversee quarry operations, operate equipment, supervise staff, and assist with inspections.

Tasks

-Operate variety of quarry equipment as directed. -Assist MSHA and DEP inspectors with facility inspections. -Assist on projects as needed. -Perform routine maintenance on equipment. -Give direction to other employees when the Quarry Superintendent is not available. -Help solve problems and troubleshoot when plant break downs occur. -Help with production reporting. -Fill in for Quarry Superintendent. -Complete daily reports.

What You Bring

-Experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus, but not required. -High School Diploma or GED. -Three to five years experience in a quarry or aggregate environment. -Valid driver's license and meets NESL's driving standards, prefered.
