The Role

Overview

Support accounting, reporting, and investor relations for private-equity funds.

Tasks

-Assisting with special projects and internal ad hoc requests -Coordination of capital calls and distributions -Supervising or training securities licensed employees; -Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products; and -Partnering with tax compliance to ensure accurate data completeness -Build productive working relationships across various departments with individuals at different experience levels -Responding to investors inquiries -Preparation of quarterly and audited annual reports, including financial disclosures -Managing all regulatory reporting filings, such as Form PF and AIFMD -Preparation of quarterly corporate reporting package -Reviewing of waterfall calculations -Reviewing of journal entries and analysis of general ledger accounts -Assisting with reviewing daily cash and investment activity -Monitoring and reporting on credit facility activity -Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials. -Preparation of quarterly capital account statements -Attending client meetings where you are discussing Blackstone products and/or and client questions; -Reviewing of management fee calculations and billing statements -Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients;

What You Bring

-Proficiency in excel required -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Investran experience preferred -CPA / CPA Candidate -Highly motivated and self-starter -6+ years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration -Strong analytical skills and detail oriented -Strong technical accounting skills -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting -Works effectively in a fast-paced professional environment and handles multiple projects
