Accounting Clerk

Overview

Maintain financial records, process transactions, and assist accounting tasks.

Tasks

-Assist with customer invoicing by attaching packing slips for proof of delivery-communicating with plant dispatch for signed packing slips. -Run bi-weekly planned cost report for manufacturing cost visibility. -Assist in researching and resolving Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) issues. -Request Certificates of Insurance (COI) for jobs, as needed. -Assist in researching and actioning items with receipts posted but not an invoice. -Resolve blocked billing invoices by researching issue and correcting items in SAP. -Assist in data cleansing activities in SAP. -Assist in the month-end closing process.

What You Bring

-Attention to detail around producing high quality products and meeting deadlines. -Experience using a complex ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.). SAP experience, preferred. -Prior experience in a manufacturing company a plus. -Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, in-person and by telephone. -Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. -High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. -Strong organizational and critical thinking skills. -Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate in data entry with 10-key operation experience.
