The Role
Overview
Develop and ensure compliance with EHS programs in manufacturing

Tasks
-Conducts accident investigation and provides recommendations to prevent re occurrence. -Ensures that all EHS reporting is completed timely and accurately. -Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. -Assist in developing and maintaining safety systems, policies, and procedures. -Assist in compliance with SPCC, SWPPP, waste-water compliance, ISO, etc. -Supports management/supervision to ensure all site associates understand and comply with all applicable regulatory, plant and corporate EHS and related policies and procedures. -Assist with risk management inspections and compliance opportunities. -Accountable for compliance with all applicable regulatory and ERMCO EHS and related policies and procedures. -Inspects facilities, machinery, equipment, and personnel practices to identify potential safety and health concerns and hazards. -Ensures that programs exist and are followed for all necessary employee monitoring and testing requirements are performed appropriately. -Ensures that EHS standards are met by all on site contract services. -Assist the EHS Manager with the development and compliance of EHS programs -Trains employees and management in safe practices and EHS procedures. -Accountable for Emergency Response functions, roles, and responsibilities in accordance with site emergency response plan.

What You Bring
-Self-motivated and self-directed. -Ability to work in a team environment. -1-2 years related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience). -Microsoft word, excel, outlook, and power point skills. -Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or similar degree from a four-year college or university -Five years of EHS experience at the manufacturing level preferred. -Excellent time management skills. -Strong organizational skills required.
