Tasks

-Establish and document assembly, disassembly, and inspection procedures. -Support Engineering Test Lab safety initiatives. -Design and procure tooling and fixtures for the assembly and test of new products. -Execute qualification and development test plans to meet program goals and milestones. -Specify required test equipment for development and qualification testing. -Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes as necessary to support new product introduction. -Manage multiple simultaneous projects to successful completion. -Performs hands-on testing as required. -Provide technical support in regard to functional and performance testing of high pressure hydro mechanical and electromechanical components and systems. -Plan, schedule and execute assigned test plan for Main Engine and Airframe fuel pumps. -Provide leadership to Test Lab personnel in support of test plans and procedures for various aircraft products and fuel systems. -Interface with maintenance personnel and provide technical support for Engineering and Production test equipment.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment -Proficient with 3D Modeling using CATIA or similar CAD software package -Knowledge of Aircraft Accessories, Products and Test Equipment -Relocation is not offered for this role. Candidate must live within a 50 mile radius of Euclid, Ohio to be considered. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement -This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158 -Excellent communication skills and ability to understand technical issues -Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal direction. -Experience with the designing of tooling and fixtures related to assembly or test stands -Good Technical Aptitude -Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
