Senior Estimator

Lead estimator managing design-and-build tenders for large-scale industrial projects.

Tasks

-Prepare and evaluate risk and opportunity -Liaise with and manager the internal and external tender team -Manage the tender from receipt through to submission and post tender queries -Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies and liaise with Clients -Review supply chain performance quarterly -Visit sites to obtain feedback -Arrange and prepare commercial documents for Tender Handover meetings -Attend pre qualification, mid tender and post tender interviews -Evaluate returned quotations from supply chain and liaise with supply chain members to bring quotations in line with the project specification requirements -Mark up enquiries to be sent out to the supply chain, organise Bills of Quantities production and obtain material quotes where necessary

What You Bring

-Demonstrable knowledge and practical application of planning and construction activities -An industry applicable ONC/HNC, BEng, NVQ or equivalent experience -Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project and estimating software -You will be an ambitious individual, take pride in what you produce, possess excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills. -You will be able to demonstrate a high level of construction knowledge
