The Role
Overview
Drive sales growth and manage client relationships for building materials in Saskatchewan.

Tasks
-Support design community engagement and participate in industry events to expand market presence. -Prepare proposals, quotes, and forecasts, seeking approval for discounts below thresholds and adjusting strategies based on market conditions. -Mentor and develop sales team members, ensuring alignment with company values and organizational goals. -Ensure responsible management of expenses and assist in collections for slow-paying accounts. -Maintain detailed CRM activity logs, track sales activities, and report on sales effectiveness. -Collaborate with customer service and supply chain teams to resolve client issues, ensure service excellence, and enhance client satisfaction. -Participate in and contribute to branch and business development meetings, review sales, margins, and market trends. -Promote a collaborative, results-oriented work environment that emphasizes organizational success over siloed departmental thinking. -Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through in-person visits, presentations, and regular communication. -Develop and execute sales and business development plans, including client prospecting and territory management.

What You Bring
-5 + years of experience in outside sales, inside sales, or project management, preferably within the building materials industry. -Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. -Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. -Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. -Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
