Tasks

-How to set and align pipe to proper line and grade -Participate in on-the-job training provided by experienced Sunrock team members -Keep tools and equipment clean and organized -Follow all safety directions and wear PPE at all times -Daily safety procedures and teamwork on active construction sites -Assist with jobsite setup, trenching, and pipe installation -Support equipment operators and pipe layers with daily tasks -Shovel, clean, and prepare work areas for the crew

What You Bring

-How to work safely around heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and backhoes -Must be 18 years or older -Steady work on long-term construction projects -Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions -Willingness to learn and follow directions in a team environment -Basic trenching, grading, and backfilling techniques -Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive manual tasks -Must have reliable transportation to job sites within 60 miles of Durham, NC -No experience required – training provided by Sunrock in partnership with the WEX program
